Product Guarantee

At Essential Additions we are proud of what we sell, so naturally we stand 100% behind each and every product. Your complete satisfaction with what you have purchased is our prime concern. Please take a moment to read ourGUARANTEE.

 Every item sold by us is covered for 6 months from the date on your invoice.

The guarantee ONLY covers manufacturing faults or defects. The guarantee does NOT cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, damage from incorrect or inappropriate use, or incorrect care.

Examples of some of the things that ARE NOT covered:  

  • Food or drink or another foreign substance is accidentally spilled on the item.
  • The material rips, or a handle or strap breaks after being caught on something.
  • The item simply “wears out” through use.
  • An unsuitable cleaning product is used, resulting in damage.

If you have an item with a manufacturing defect, post it direct to us.

Send us:

  1.  The item, (securely wrapped).
  2.  Copy of your invoiceWe regret we can NOT process your item without this proof of purchase.
  3.  A short note explaining what the problem is.

We will examine and assess the item and if we consider that a manufacturing fault or defect does exist, and the fault can be satisfactorily repaired, we repair it. Otherwise we send you a replacement item.

 

Exchanging an Item

If you have simply changed your mind and wish to exchange an item for another colour or for another item, we will swap it for you.

PROVIDING;

  •  We receive it strictly within 14 days of the invoice date.
  •  The item has never been used.
  •  It is still in the original packaging and with the original manufacturer’s swing tags attached.

Under NO circumstances can we exchange an item after the 14 days has elapsed, or if it has been used, or if it is not in the original packaging with the manufacturer’s swing tickets attached.

To exchange an item, send the item direct to us.

 Send us:

  1.  The item, (securely wrapped).
  2. Copy of your invoice. We regret we can NOT process your item without this proof of purchase.
  3. A short note detailing the item you would like to exchange it for.
  4. A cheque for $9.95 to cover handling and postage back to you.
  5. A cheque for the price difference, if exchanging for a more expensive item.

Note: If you are exchanging an item for a cheaper one we are unable to refund the difference.

Please note that the Reply Paid address is for guarantee claims only, we are unable to accept delivery of items for exchange when sent without postage prepaid, nor will we accept items posted COD.

Refunds

We will issue you a refund if you have simply changed your mind.
